- Quality control review of remediated client KYC files
- Provide ongoing and ad hoc SME guidance and support to file build analysts
- Review and assessment of associated AML documentation
- Assessment of client identification & verification documentation
- Identification & escalation of suspicious activity
- Review and constructively challenge the operations internal processes to drive continuous improvement
- Provide feedback on client files and decision-making processes to file build analysts
- Maintain awareness of regulatory risk/landscape and use this awareness to flag issues of importance to the operation
- Build constructive and collaborative working relationships with teams both on and offshore
Role
Data Scientists
- Use your scientific background to find solutions together with your colleagues to difficult anti-money laundering problems.
- Deliver advanced analytics products from design to production together with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Conduct analytics, including data preparation, requirements specification, testing and validation, and documentation.
- Closely collaborate with AML and FinCrime teams to translate the money laundering methods into analytical models using Python, SQL & other tooling.

- Overseeing a team of KYC analysts
- Liaising with the management team at the client’s business
- Reporting to the client’s board on the progress of projects
- Suggesting ideas and improvements for compliance policies and procedures to the client
- Solidifying the AML and Compliance framework of the company
- Ensuring all compliance manuals are kept up to date
- Ensure control checks carried out
- Ensure correct training programmes for the team in place and properly recorded
- Lead the on-boarding process for borrowers (typically corporate structures)
- Undertake periodic reviews of existing investor and borrower base
- Ensure all procedures properly documented
